JOB ROLE: Experienced Administrator / Practice Manager

Hybrid role for an Experienced Administrator / Practice Manager

For the right person, this will be an exciting role. But it will only appeal if you are an experienced administrator, or a practice manager ideally within a directly registered firm looking to for a role where you have more control over the systems we use and how the practice develops.

We are a successful small practice based at a network that have chosen to go direct to the FCA. We have a fulltime administrator, paraplanner and adviser and we need an experienced administrator, who can help the existing team and set up the systems and practices for a directly regulated firm and then help us develop the practice.

We initially need from you:

  • Administration support including holiday cover
  • Responsibility for annual reviews.
  • Support with iO entries, management and optimisation.
  • Invoices, cashflow, working with 3rd party suppliers
  • Generating MI information.

We would like the role to develop into a practice manager, where you will:

  1. Help identify the shortfalls in our business.
  2. Review Process and tech to identify inefficiency and suggest improvements.
  3. Review the client service proposition. Are we delivering on the promises, is what we do valued?
  4. Implement an HR system. Maybe some management oversight? and help recruit and train the next adviser. I currently plan for this to be a shadow adviser, where we both work on the client base together.

We have office space in the City of London, though the existing team all operate remotely and this role is most likely to suit somebody who is looking for flexible working, possibly flexible working hours.

The candidate will be:

  • Experienced
  • Looking to develop their role.
  • Confident user of IT systems.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
